Maura and Terry's Trip to England
Terry and I went
to England in June of 2001. We took along my dad's digital camera,
and these are the results. These pictures are currently in alphabetical order
-- sometime soon
i will get around to putting them in the correct (chronological) order.

 Corge Castle, a gorgeous castle in the south of Dorset. |
 Corfe Castle was destroyed in the English Civil war by loyalists. |
 It is unreal that they decided to destroy such a wonderful place. |
 But it does make a very interesting ruin. |

 The East Budleigh Church -- interesting for a couple of reasons. First, when we were there, they were having a flower festival. The church was filled with gorgeous flowers. Second, it is the church that Sir Walter Raleigh used to attend. |

 The flowers that my dad sent my grandmother for her birthday. She turned 87 on June 27th, 2001! That makes her 60 years and 7 months older than me. |
