Handel - Air from Water Music
Boccerini - Menuet Johann
Pachelbel - Canon in D Major

The Goblet
Into a chalice, wine glass or goblet a little
wine or juice will be poured before commencing the ceremony
of marriage.
At the appropriate time, when the b ride
and groom have signified publicly their desire to be married
one to the other, the officiant will then hand the goblet
first to the bride, and then to the groom. The drinking of
the wine symbolizes that as the bride and groom are nourished
by the fruit of the vine, it is hoped that their marriage
will be enriched in the sharing of their love.

The Meaning
To love is to share life together
to build special plans just for two
To work side by side
and then smile with pride
As one by one, dreams all come true.
To love is to help and encourage
with smiles and sincere words of praise
To take time to share
to listen and care
In tender, affectionate ways.
To love is to have someone special
one who you can always depend
To be there through the years
sharing laughter and tears
As a partner, a lover, a friend.
To love is to make special memories
of moments you love to recall
Of all the good things
that sharing life brings
Love is the greatest of all.
I've learned the full meaning
of sharing and caring
and having my dreams all come true;
I've learned the full meaning
of being in love
by being and loving with you.

The Marriage Vows
I Maura / Terry, take you, Maura /
Terry to be
My wedded husband/wife
To join with you and share all that is to come from this day
forward.
To give and to receive,
To speak and to listen
To inspire and to respond
And in all the circumstances of our life together
To be loyal to you with my whole being.
The Roses
Being the symbol of love, the bride and
groom symbolize the bringing of their love into the marriage.
After the pronouncement of marriage, the bride and groom (by
the, husband and wife) are given a rose each which they would
then proceed to exchange -- symbolizing the giving and the
acceptance of each other's love. Both husband and wife are
then invited to share their love with someone special to them
-- presenting the roses to each other's mother.
